Hello, I'm Ed Kirkland. Welcome to my site. I specialize in selling recreational properties and ranches in southern Colorado. A few years ago after a career in real estate selling thousands of properties and running my own ReMax office my wife Kathy and I decided to move to La Veta to improve our quality of life! And we're glad we did! My family is from the La Veta, Colorado area and we have always wanted to have our own little ranch with a log home and a killer view. So we did it! Kathy, my son Tylor and I sold our business and moved to La Veta.
We really love The Cuchara Valley. There is a real sense of community in this "Mayberry" like little town. The people here are friendly and helpful. Most would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. We bought a piece of mountain ranchland not too far from town and built our own log home. I really enjoy working as a broker associate. I can take advantage of my experience with thousands of sales and focus on my new clients one at a time giving them the best possible service they could receive anywhere.
