How is the La Veta Real Estate Market?
I speak with people all the time, that's my job. There is one question that without a doubt everyone will eventually ask: "How does the real estate market in La Veta / Cuchara compare to my local market conditions back home".
I always tell folks that I'm not an expert on their local market back home so I really can't comment on that , but our market is and has been healthy. Our area of southern Colorado has never seen dramatic price increases or runaway appreciation so unlike the rest of the country our market values had no reason to collapse. We have had steady and consistent appreciation since the early 90s.
In fact some of our best clients are from other parts of Colorado. They already know how outrageous other areas of Colorado are and can appreciate the relative deal we are here in our neck of the woods.
The truth is that I meet people every week that have lived their entire life in Colorado and never knew how beautiful and special the La Veta area is. Many have never even heard of La Veta.
For me personally it's a double edged sword. I truly love my little town and surrounding area, and if I could have my way I would keep my little Mayberry like town just as it is forever. But the word is out and I have to make a living for my family.
One truth about sales is that in order to be really good in sales you have to really love what you sell. I have that one covered easily!!!!
